Our plan is to use this same link each week, for the coming weeks, unless we need to change things for security reasons.
If you have access to a bible, whether it be a physical one, or one on your mobile device, do have it with you, as we will follow the text together.
This Sunday, we’ll be finishing Bible Month by looking at Ruth 4.
The songs will be: (Come out of sadness) Come as you are SOF2574
Song: I could sing of your love forever…SOF975
Attached HERE is a colouring sheet of the family tree from Ruth to Jesus.
If you missed last weeks zoom service, Andy has recorded a video on his thoughts on Ruth 3 that can be watched on YouTube HERE.
Other worship resources can be found on the circuit website HERE.
Message from John Bailey:

Wyn
We are sad to announce the death of Wyn Lawrence on Thursday in York hospital. Our prayers are with Bob and their family.
Music from Southlands
Last Thursday some of us enjoyed a concert on facebook by James Ball, live streamed it from the piano in Southlands. He plans to do more, weekly at 7.30pm on Thursdays. You can watch them from his facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/jamesrobertballmusic/ you can then support him by donating the price of a coffee via a link on his page (£3).
Circuit news:
Many of you will have seen that the government has begun relaxing the lockdown rules to allow churches to open for private prayer. However, at present the Methodist Church's advice is that churches should remain closed. As Chair of the Yorkshire North & East District Leslie Newton reminds us in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50V0z2AOQsY God will hear us wherever we pray.
The Circuit Bible Month study group is meeting again on Monday 29th June at 2.30pm (please note change of time). Contact Keith Albans or the Circuit office for the log in details.
Praying for our Circuit
The church on the Circuit Prayer Rota for 28th June is Stillington. Let us thank God for the work of God in that place, and pray for the church as they consider how best to respond to God's call in this time.
God of the trinity,
Be in our relationships,
Family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, Church,
The struggles, the forgiveness, the laughter, the love,
Help us to support one another,
With practical help, with a listening ear, with words of wisdom and care,
As you are three, in relationship together, and yet one
Teach us, unite us in love and service to you.
May we, like Naomi and Ruth, find joy takes the place of bitterness in our lives.
Amen
If there is anything you would like included in these weekly emails, please send them to me by Friday evening.
Regards, Naomi
Progress! Community Bees have arranged for part of their work to be done this week. The first 2 raised beds at the side of church have been completed. We assume the other bed, as well as the bike racks, will have to wait for the scaffolding to comes down.
