WSWA Is committed to fostering a safe sport environment. Through this difficult and unprecedented time with the impacts of COVID-19, we are committed to the health, safety and well-being of all our members.  Our thoughts are with those personally affected by the virus and all the health care workers and everyone working on the front lines of this pandemic.

Information sharing is critical during this challenging time and Water Ski & Wakeboard Alberta  has created this “Return to Play for PHASE 2” document to outline guidelines and restrictions to support our members and to illustrate how our members can return to play, practice, skill development and competition as the restrictions for Covid-19 change or are lifted. 

WSWA is following the Province of Alberta Relaunch and adheres to Relaunch Strategy.  This document references the guidelines and restrictions of PHASE 2 of Alberta.ca Relaunch. This document is current as of June 22, 2020. To the extent provincial guidelines change or are in conflict with this document, provincial guidelines will govern.

PHASE 2 is in effect from June 12, 2020 to Phase 3 (Date TBD)

Water Ski & Wakeboard Alberta (WSWA) is going virtual! We are now offering to our members our WSWA Virtual Tour for slalom skiing, wakesurfing, and wakeboarding​

Participants will upload their videos to be reviewed and scored and placed in the WSWA Ranking Lists for Wakesurfing, Slalom Skiing, and Wakeboarding​

Live the Lake Life on your own lake and compete virtually – for all athletes – all levels!​

This is a great opportunity to ski, surf, or ride with your family, but still compete against your lake buddies and all athletes across the province through our new virtual community!

WSWA has partnered with the World Waterski League (WWSL) to offer Virtual Competition! The World Waterski League lets you be a competitor anywhere and anytime you choose to be.

• Register for the Event by the deadline.

• We are encouraging skiers from many/all lakes around Alberta to ski during these tournament dates and upload videos to see who the King/Queen of the Virtual tournaments will be at season end.
