Stay Connected!

Issue 9

Hello <<First Name>>,

The time has come! This weekend, we are continuing to gather as a community online but also we will gather as a community in person!

Staying safe and staying connected remain key important elements while implementing the plans that were configured for this weekend and beyond. Compromise and cooperation will enable the plans to come to life.

This e-letter will continue to bring you news from the Pastoral Area of Greystones and Kilquade in conjunction with information on the parish websites. You will be kept informed as progress is made and as we discover what can be managed.

Again, we appeal to you to tell people of this e-letter and encourage them to sign up for Stay Connected through the websites or here. Maybe help someone to do this. There still remains a significant number of people not connected through this....  read on to see what they are missing!

Weekend Liturgy

14th Sunday in Ordinary Time
On this Sunday, our Gospel is one of the most attractive and best-loved paragraphs in Matthew, breathing an air of invitation and serenity...just what we need, as we undertake the cautious next stage of easing the Covid 19 restrictions.

The Psalmist tells us that God understands us and knows us better than we know ourselves. “O Lord, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways”. (Psalm 139:1–3) He knows of what we are made and so we can come confidently before him with our brokenness and need of his grace.

It might be good before Mass this weekend to take a moment of quiet to become aware of whatever is a burden to me now in my life and ask the Lord for his love and healing touch.

Tune in to the webcam before 11:30am Mass to hear the welcome.
The Scripture readings are available daily and for Sunday.
