I thought I would send out a little update as midsummer is upon us and the experiences of the last few months are beginning to shift somewhat.. here's a summary of a few things that I've been up to in my studio.
NEW STOCKIST
The Bristol Artisan on Redland Road is now a stockist of my screen-printed wall hangings. It's such a beautifully curated shop focusing on contemporary design and craft and is well worth a visit.Selling work from over 50 independent Bristol and UK-based designer makers with an emphasis on handmade and sustainable practises.

I really enjoy working on special projects and tailoring designs for people's personal spaces. This is a recent lampshade design I created for Alice to fit in with her bold and playful living room.
I created this lampshade using hand-cut sponges and printed directly onto paper panels before assembling it.

SUNPRINTS
Summer is the time to get printing! I've been working with the photographic process of cyanotype for a couple of years now - and it still fails to inspire me with its magic, and the endless way you can create impressions.
As I've watched the garden grow with all the amazing sun punctuated by torrential downpours, everything has bloomed! Here are a couple of my favourites.

Now everyone has got very well adept at baking bread you'll want somewhere nice to store it.
These bread bags are 100% linen which is breathable and retains moisture. The French have traditionally used linen to store bread! And they know their bread... Also great for taking to the bakers directly and saving on their packaging. Win win!
