Diversity & Inclusion Survey

Thanks to all members who answered the NCURA Region III Climate Survey!

We received 274 responses. The Executive Committee and the Diversity & Inclusion Committee are reviewing the data, which is housed securely and has had personal identifiers removed. Initial findings will be shared with the Region III membership in August.

Survey results will contribute to creating programs, tools, and resources that will help Region III become a more inclusive and equitable space.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Region III is proud to announce that Jill Frazier Tincher, Executive Director for Sponsored Projects Administration at the University of Georgia, is a 2020 NCURA Julia Jacobsen Distinguished Service Award recipient! Awardees are selected for sustained and distinctive contributions that have had a positive effect on the entire research community. The virtual award ceremony will take place during AM62. Congratulations, Jill!

Region III also congratulates Erika Oden-Cottingham for her new position as Director of Sponsored Programs at Columbus State University!

UPCOMING CONFERENCES

The 62nd Annual Meeting takes place August 7-14, 2020. It's virtual this year with multiple registration options.

The next Region III Business Meeting will occur during AM62 on Wednesday, August 12, from 5:15-6:15pm."

The Region III Elections Ballot went out June 22 and will close July 6.
