Welcome to the bi-monthly International Baton Twirling Federation Newsletter.
Spinning into the Future of Baton Twirling.

**SPECIAL EDITION**

Athletes, coaches, and officials,

I cannot thank you enough for your determination to continue twirling as we all navigate our current circumstances. As athletes around the world create new ways to train and remain connected, I am in awe of their heart & passion. There is no doubt in my mind that our first IBTF World Baton Twirling Championship in 2022 will be worth the wait!

As many of you know, the venue for 2021's Championship was selected before the onset of this pandemic. The venue is truly magnificent; in fact, it is known as one of the most sought after locations for large scale events in all of England. While postponement was required, the championship will still take place at the same location. Anyone who has hosted a baton twirling event can certainly understand that securing a venue can be very challenging. While the facility was able to provide us a date for 2022, it is a bit later in the month of August than we typically meet and unfortunately, non-negotiable.

So we kindly ask that you mark your calendars and save your vacation for Liverpool - August 20-28, 2022!
