November 14, 2011

It's NaNoWriMo month.  No I am not doing a poor imitation of Mork from Ork.  November is National Novel Writing Month.  It's the month where every author kicks themselves into high gear and writes...writes...writes.  More about NaNoWriMo >>

I had a great start to NaNoWriMo... almost 10,000 words in a weekend on two different books. I lived high for a few days, then, I am ashamed to say, I fizzled. Between author interviews (podcasts), newsletters and my real job, my brain capacity has been left a little thin.

Yet there are no excuses, even during the looming holiday season.

So, as I shovel a forkful of pumpkin pie into my mouth, I will look into the challenging faces of authors around the country and respond -- awh wu wite! (that's 'I will write' in pumpkinese.)

God Bless!
