The summer break is upon us and this year, we know how important it will be to get away from it all... we wish you and your loved ones a wonderful summer vacation.

COVID-19 is not our only priority!
The AQCS's 2019-2020 achievements are quite positive, despite the pandemic, which will have undoubtedly affected the performance of certain activities. We hope you agree.

 

What to watch in 2020-2021: a renewed professional development formula through webinars and podcasts, and several evolving labour relations topics (future of the PPMP, discussions on renewal of conditions of employment, group insurance for retired managers, etc.).
Extraordinary General Meeting

At the Extraordinary General Meeting held on June 18, the members approved the Board of Directors' proposal to grant the mandate of auditor to the firm Mallette for the years 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022.

RACAR reelection


Mr. Conrad Berry, Director of Labour Relations at the AQCS, was re-elected for a third term as head of the Regroupement des associations de cadres en matière d'assurance et de retraite (RACAR).
 
This is very good news for our members, as important discussions with government representatives are in the works to resolve the issue of transfers, which is undermining the financial health of the Pension Plan for Management Personnel (PMPP).
Responsible Management Training - MOOC

For a third year, the free online training in responsible management (MOOC), open to all, will be offered by FSA ULaval from September 14 to November 15, 2020.Throughout the weeks, 35 management specialists and seven business managers will successively deliver content rich in information and experience.  For more information

Retirement


AQCS' precious ally, who has accumulated nearly 35 years of service, is leaving us this week for retirement. Ms. Lyne Lagacé, administrative technician in the communications department. Lyne’s rigour, creativity and kindness will remain etched in our hearts.
