Summer holidays are fast approaching...
... but we're sure it won't be any surprise to hear that our summer guide looks different this year.
Coronavirus continues to make its presence known across all areas of society, and unfortunately the leisure and short breaks sectors are no different.
We know that your needs for short breaks haven't changed, and that if anything, the current situation has intensified them. We are working with our providers to try and bring you as many options as we possibly can but there's no getting away from the fact that this summer won't run quite like any summer we've had before and despite all our best efforts, there will be reduced opportunities.
However, our summer holiday programme will still be dropping into your inboxes next week, and we’ve included as many resources as we can think of that might be useful to you over the summer holidays, including clubs, venues, online and outdoor activities.
Keep checking our website; as guidance changes and more providers are able to reopen we will be updating things. Plus, if you know of a great resource that might benefit families, let us know! All suggestions welcome.
If you are struggling to find things to do or need support, please contact the team and we can discuss your needs and what’s available. Just drop us a line at info@activities-unlimited.co.uk.
Until that comes out next week, here's a quick round up of what's crossed our path this week we think you might find useful:

The @Alcove Video Carephone is a simple communication device that allows people with little or no technological ability to have two-way video contact with care workers, family members and other approved service providers. The Video Carephone can not only provide people with care and support calls, but help them with loneliness and to connect with the support networks in their community.
