GREETINGS FROM YOUR EXALTED RULER

Hope July finds everyone healthy and safe.  We continue to take measures to keep everyone as safe as possible at the Lodge.  Our current Lodge meetings are on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 8 pm.  All current members are invited to attend to continue to grow the Lodge and Club.

Currently 25% of our Lodge is delinquent in dues.  If you haven’t received a dues notice or need another copy please contact the Secretary or myself.

Do you play Golf?  You don’t need to be a professional to participate in our outing!  July 25th at Clinton Heights Golf Course, 8:30 Tee time.  Put together your own Foursome or just sign up as a single and we will place you with a team.  Cost is $55 per player or $220 per team.  Cost includes golf and lunch at the club after, sign up with me at 419-606-2462 or srubigern@yahoo.com.

There are plenty of other events in the works as well through the end of the year!  The Regatta, Casino Night with the FOP, Heritage Festival weekend, and The Gun Raffle. Be on the look out for more information and postings.

Forever in Elkdom,
Chuck Jones, Exalted Ruler

FROM THE TRUSTEES

Hope this finds all members well and enjoying the summer. We have a lot planned for July and there are many ways the membership can get involved.

Sat July 11 - Build-A-Burger
Wed July 22 – Clouse Hot Dog Night
Sat July 25 – Elks Golf Tournament

The annual golf outing is a lot of fun and fellowship. Team cost $220 includes 18 holes with cart and a meal to follow. This event is one of your Elk’s annual fundraisers. Enter a team to enjoy the day with friends and benefit the club at the same time. That’s a win-win for all.

Gun Raffle and Adventure Raffle tickets will be mailed out by the end of June. This will give all members plenty of time to help sell tickets. The Raffle Committee will be setting up a booth to sell tickets at the Farmers Markets on the 11th and 25th of July from 9:00A M -1:00PM. A booth will also be at the flea market in August, Sept, and Oct. Volunteers to help in the booth at these events would be greatly appreciated.

As you know we are relying on volunteer bartenders for 4 of the 6 nights the club is open. In the rare case no volunteer is available the club will unfortunately be closed. We need volunteers to get into the rotation. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer bartender contact Nate Lofay. Beginning in July, the club schedule will be posted
weekly on the Elks website and Facebook page.

On a final note, attendance at the club has been pretty steady considering the times. According to our treasurer, we are holding our own and slowly making headway. This is good news. Thanks to all and we will see you at the club.

Your Trustees

Respectfully Yours,
Anne Clouse, Tyler Shuff, Chris Corgan, Nate Lofay, Bill Nordholt
