Please see the below June 2020 National Conservative Clean Energy Poll released by Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions. Public Opinion Strategies completed an online survey of 1,009 Republicans and Republican-leaning Independents nationwide. The survey was conducted June 6-16, 2020 with a margin of error of 3.5%. As it has been for several years, support for clean energy among conservatives continues to grow as the public becomes more aware of the benefits of clean energy to our economy and the environment. CCE Georgia will be releasing a Georgia specific poll later this summer and we hope you find this information useful for the 2020 campaign season.  - Theresa Garcia Robertson 
Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions releases 2020 National Conservative Clean Energy Poll
  • Three-quarters of Republicans support the federal government taking action to accelerate the development and use of clean energy in the US.
  • Fully 72% of Republicans support the federal government taking steps to reduce emissions of gases like carbon dioxide and methane emissions that contribute to climate change.
  • Two-thirds of Republicans agree that it is important to make investments in clean energy as part of our effort to rebuild the economy after the coronavirus shutdown.
  • GOP voters overwhelmingly support providing financial incentives to companies to help lower the cost of capturing carbon dioxide.
