Experience Ajax

by Robert Gruber
The summer is here and things are slowly starting to reopen and bans are slowly being lifted, but let’s not let this go to our heads. We still need to wash our hands often where possible or use hand sanitizer, stay home if you’re sick, keep at least 2 metres (6 feet) between yourself and others when out in the community, and if this is a challenge, consider using a non-medical face mask.

Might have received:

Many of you have heard Jeff Foxworthy's the "You Might be a Redneck If" and David Letterman's “Top Ten” and I was thinking we could maybe have fun with the hoaxes and scams we all receive via email and facebook.

You might have received an email scam/phishing when:
  • the unknown sender asks you to click on a link or open an attachment
  • the email contain a link, but no other information
  • the unknown sender is offering to buy your artwork without naming the piece and overpay for it
  • I guess the latest are about COVID-19 contact
  • Amazon Prime wanting to update credit card info

You might have received a facebook fake/hoax when:
  • it arrives as an image with no live text
  • it states something strange and you you are encouraged to share to help your friends avoid it
  • there are going to be a lot of US election myths arriving daily in our inboxes
Received some good ones lately?
