Further Easing of Restrictions
An end to the RSVP in sight...

This week further easing of Coronavirus restrictions have been announced. The phase four easing (coming into effect this weekend) doesn’t change our situation at St Matthew’s.

However, the phase five easing (scheduled for July 18) does. We won’t be subject to the two-meter square rule. This is great news for us. It will mean we shouldn’t need the RSVP or check in systems anymore, and there will be room on Sunday for everyone, every week, any time you like.

This also means we can start to talk about coming out of our temporary COVID safe services and look to the future shape and ministry of St Matthew’s.

On this I need to ask for patience. For two reasons.

Firstly, because many people will be on holidays during July (including many of the staff team). Secondly, because we need to talk properly about this next step we take, and these conversations take time.

These next decisions we make as a Church are just too important to rush.

RSVP for Sunday
Click the blue button above to RSVP for one of this Sunday's services.  While we're eager for anyone to be able to attend any of our gatherings, RSVPing saves your seats and means that we won't have to turn you away if we fill up.  If you would like your children to participate in any of our kids ministries, from creche through to teens, during the service, these will be available at 9am and 11am.  If you are unable to attend the service of your choice this week, please note you will be able to secure a space at the service for the following week.

St Matthew's temporary Covid gatherings are at 9am, 11am, 4:30pm and 6:30pm.
All gatherings will be held in the St Matthew's building at 114 Onslow Road, Shenton Park.
Morning Tea at Lake Jualbup
Every Sunday just after the 9am service a big crowd is starting to gather at Lake Jualbup (just a block from church). It’s been a great time to grab a coffee and chat away while kids are playing in the playground. Come by and check it out if you can, no matter what service you are RSVPed into.
Are you watching the Livestream?
Zoom after Church

If you are watching on the Livestream, you aren’t alone. There are others who aren’t yet ready to gather. If you would like to join in a Zoom chat afterwards for some fellowship, email hello@stmatthews.com.au for the details.

On the Livestream, we are working hard on the quality. It’s another new skill for us to master in this season.
