It was another popular competition last month, and we have six lucky winners who answered the following rules question correctly:
Temporary water includes puddles caused by rain on a putting green. True or false?
The correct answer is true - Temporary Water is defined as any temporary accumulation of water on the surface of the ground (such as puddles from rain or irrigation or an overflow from a body of water) that:
- Is not in a penalty area, and - Can be seen before or after the player takes a stance (without pressing down excessively with his or her feet)
Congratulations to our three male and three female winners from across the State, who will all be looking sharp and keeping warm in their new Cutter & Buck jackets:

- Rosemary Newton, Walgett
- Suzanne Ingle, Albury
- David Kalisch, Nicholls
- Matthew Hardiman, Menai
- Stephen Darlington, Bathurst

The Golf NSW High Performance Squad is comprised of the most talented male and female amateur golfers from across the State. The aim is to develop the team into "Tour Ready" Professionals who have the potential to compete on major international tours.
Each week, as part of their training, they head out to different courses to test their skills. Last week, the team visited Bondi Golf & Diggers and faced some very testing conditions! How did they score? Click here to read more...
This is a story of incredible community spirit, generousity, and kindness.
In an effort to upgrade their volunteer-run Club in a cost-effective manner, Club President of Uralla Golf Club, Darrell Carson, reached out to an RSL Club in the city for assistance.
This month we begin a video series - "Meet the Golf NSW Team". Have you ever wondered about the faces behind the e-mails and phone calls to Golf NSW...and who does what at the Arncliffe office?
You're about to find out, as we ask each team member a little about themselves - what they do at Golf NSW...their favourite teams...and how they like their eggs!
A total of just 12 golfers achieved an ace since our last newsletter, including Hayden Sharpe - pictured left. All our winners receive a bottle of fine red wine, a commemorative shirt, and a certificate with the compliments of St Hallett wines. Click here for the list of achievers...
Don't forget that the R&A also offers a selection of quizzes from Beginner to Advanced - it's a great way to learn the rules, and keep up to date.
The most amazing thing happened at 13th Beach Golf Links over the weekend...it can only be described as supernatural...
