Even during difficult times, we can see how God is guiding us and opening up opportunities to discover passionate people who want to partner with us and serve their community.
This is super exciting as it’s part of our next phase of PILAS – our outreach plan we've named “the BRIDGE”.

It was created to encourage Sumpangueros to unite and get engaged in serving.
Although you won't be able to differentiate who is who the locals will definitely identify people from many different churches involved.
In fact about 1/3 of the people in this video are from the Catholic community and nearly all the rest are from various Evangelical churches.
While this may seem unusual to mention, it’s a HUGE message here in Sumpango and it’s ruffling feathers.
As Otoniel has been exploring and learning about the different churches, he’s been asked "does his pastor (evangelical church) know that his workplace is working alongside the Catholic church?"
Hmmm.. more to come on this!
