Committee and Task Force News

Maintainer Onboarding Update
32 individuals are slated to attend the first Maintainer Onboarding session, and will finish their onboarding in early July. After the first sessions, there will be two following sessions.

Carpentries Maintainers work with the community to make sure lessons are up-to-date, accurate, and functional. Learn more about The Carpentries Lesson Maintenance in our handbook here, and find a list of our current Maintainers here

CarpentryCon @ Home
Thank you to everyone who has submitted a session proposal. The CarpentryCon @ Home Task Force has reviewed all the proposals and is reaching out to authors of the selected abstracts to begin finalising the program and scheduling.

We will publish the schedule as soon as it is available. In the meantime, please continue submitting Lightning Talk proposals and signing up to be a Regional Host or volunteer if you are available.
