Humber LEP Newsletter June

More businesses set to re-open next month

The Humber LEP, Humber Economic Resilience Group (HERG) and Humber Business Growth Hub want to ensure all businesses are prepared to open once more for business.

The OneHumber online events week: Rethinking and rebuilding together, was held in the first week of June and supported businesses with many aspects of practical help and guidance.

The Humber Business Growth Hub also has a number of webinars dedicated to all aspects of preparedness as well as grants to support businsses who need further financial support to make changes. Read more about this here.

The HERG continues to convene and discusses all different kinds of issues facing Humber Businesses - ensuring the Government has an accurate picture of the kinds of difficulties business in our region is facing.

OneHumber online events week success

The first week of June saw 30 events take place as part of the OneHumber online events week: Rethinking and rebuilding together.

Hundreds people took part in these events, with positive feedback from participants and organisers alike.

This was part of the HERG's dedication to supporting local businesses as the focus on the region's business moves towards recovery and rebuilding as they begin operations once again.

This event took place on the week would normally house Humber Business Week. The flagship Humber events week will now take place in 2021, which we gladly welcome and very much look forward to being involved in once again.
