let your $ talk

Let's talk mulah! 💸 The way you spend your money is perhaps the easiest way to provide support for organizations, companies and initiatives you care about on a day-to-day basis. That's the idea behind our whole #BuyWomenOwned mission! This extends beyond what physical products you buy and includes your investments, where you eat, where you donate, bank and more. Let's get out there and support women entrepreneurs, black-owned businesses, and other small businesses and let that mulah talk!

Looking to support some extra inspiring businesses? WBENCPitch Pivot, brought to you in partnership with Allstate, is showcasing and supporting women entrepreneurs who have pivoted their businesses and stepped outside of the box to create or offer products, services, and solutions that fill supply chain gaps during the COVID-19 crisis. You are invited to watch the Final Round, tomorrow at 3 - 5:30 PM EST, when these 13 finalists will deliver their pitch LIVE to our panel of judges.

This week we are continuing to share our weekly gratitude round-up. Want to participate? Send us an email and tell us three things you are most grateful for.

Gratitude Round-Up

What our readers are grateful for this week:
  1. Hot coffee in the am - the aroma fills my home and 'readies' me for the day ahead
  2. Women entrepreneurs who have paved the way and are giving back. Thank you so much!
  3. Time to get creative doing many small projects around the house.

"We know that female-led start-ups have a more difficult time getting their fair share of VC funding. But rather than looking at this position as a detriment, I see being a female founder as an incredible attribute, particularly if you’ve started a brand or created a product that you yourself want to use or be a part of."

the last word

"A huge impact for me was the WBENCPitch competition where I actually got to pitch SeeHerWork in front of the network so that they could hear about what I was doing. I was doing marathons in my gear trying to raise awareness, getting an article written on CNN, appearing on Good Morning America, and it was the WBENCPitch competition that gave me the platform to really communicate what I needed to communicate in a big way!"
