‘Accounting Avenues’ is highly valuable to COMMERCE STUDENTS OF ALL YEARS. This educational workshop is designed to introduce students to different accounting career pathways. Further, students will obtain valuable advice in regards to professional accounting qualifications, and learn about internship opportunities that will accelerate your accounting careers.
This workshop comprises three sections, and after each one, students will be provided with some time to ask questions. The sections will be:
- Our sponsors will provide a quick presentation on the work that they do within their service line
- Representatives from accounting qualification bodies will discuss the benefits of their qualifications
- A member of Career Accelerator will talk about hands-on opportunities within UNSW
These are all valuable information which will provide younger students with confidence in selecting their major. Older students will benefit from having a better direction when applying for vacation and graduate programs in the accounting field, and from the insights, they obtain about the different opportunities that are available for kick-starting their careers.
