WE'RE GOOD TO GO: ‘Stay Safe’ accreditation mark launched for pubs with rooms

The Visit England ‘We’re Good To Go’ industry standard and supporting Stay in a Pub ‘Stay Safe’ mark enables pubs with rooms to demonstrate that they are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and checked that they have the required processes in place. The scheme has been developed by Visit England with input from more than 40 industry bodies including UK Hospitality, the British Beer and Pub Association and Stay in a Pub.

In our recent survey of 12,000 customers, 41% said they were ‘completely comfortable’ about staying overnight in a pub and 80% ‘pretty comfortable’, however our ‘Stay Safe’ mark and this industry standard certification will go that important step further towards providing our customers with reassurance that it is safe to stay in our great British pubs.
