Meet Your Library Staff

Marta is a Youth Librarian at Cedar Mill Library. She performs storytimes, organizes the Summer Reading Program and Oregon Battle of the Books practices, selects chapter books, graphic novels and audiobooks for elementary age kids, and answers patron’s questions.

Read to a Dog!

Do your kids need a little incentive to do their daily reading over the summer? Reading to a dog (or other animal) can be a great motivator! Kids often feel more relaxed reading to a furry friend, and less self conscious about making mistakes.

Although our Read to the Dogs program is on hold due to COVID-19, here are some other options to explore.
