Dear Friends,
What a year this has been for everyone—at times tumultuous, traumatic, reorienting, fateful, and too often (and still) tragic. It has brought us unprecedented fear and worry, but also insights both cleansing and profound, as well as high hopes and firm resolve for individual and social change.
To mark this extraordinary year’s first half, I have made a special video for you. It takes images and words that I've created since January—the most recent a few days ago—and weds them to music (Spiegel im Spiegel and Für Alina by Arvo Pärt). The result, I believe, is a very different experience: an audiovisual flow that reflects some of our shared journey. I hope you'll give it a look and listen, and find it rewarding.
May you and yours endure in good health in body and mind.

TO VIEW THE VIDEO
1. With your best viewing device, click here. That will take you to Dropbox, where the video resides. You can either stream it from there or, for highest quality, download it to your device.
2. If you stream it, click on the video frame there (black, with a Play arrow and Angel with Pearl image). Then click the gear icon (lower right) and choose the highest quality. Also click the fullscreen icon (outward arrows, lower right) so the video fills your screen.
3. Or, to download the video to your device, click on the "..." symbol in the right sidebar, and select "Download." Depending on the speed of your connection, the download may take a few minutes. (The video file is about 2GB.) It will download to your Downloads folder.
