THIS SUNDAY - JEFF DELP

We are excited to announce that this week, June 28 at 11:15 a.m. we will be interviewing Jeff Delp from Focused Community Strategies. We look forward to hearing Jeff's story of how God called him and sustains him in his crucial work in South East Atlanta.  This has been a significant time for Carver Market and Community Grounds as they seek to respond to a hurting community around them.
Summer discipleship series. The Grow Team at North Avenue Presbyterian Church (NAPC) invites you to participate in our summer discipleship series, “Growing Into Mission,” a seven-part summer adult discipleship series via the Zoom platform examining the intersection between personal faith and the experience of serving in mission.

Each Sunday at 11:15 a.m. from June 28 to August 9, we will feature dialogue between a mission leader from one of our local or global mission partnerships and a moderator from NAPC’s Discipleship or Mission Team. Through our conversations with mission partners in this series, we hope to enrich our understanding of our guests’ call to ministry, and, in turn, to be inspired about the call to mission. We hope you will join us for this instructive and deeply personal series on the Missio Dei.

An Update from Clifton Sanctuary Ministries

The past couple of months have been challenging for everyone. Like we all have heard, we are in this together. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Clifton has managed to continue serving and ministering to our guests here at the shelter. By following CDC guidelines we are happy to say that at this time no guests or staff have tested positive for COVID. Our volunteers have really stepped up in helping us provide for our guests. Thank you for the dinners, supplies, games, food items, and monetary donations that have been an incredible blessing to us during this time. We stand in amazement of God's goodness, and in how our Clifton family has loved us during such an unprecedented time. As we have said many times before, we could not do this without you!

Pic 1: Our dear guest, Bill, just received a new set of wheels thanks to a Clifton friend. Bill told us that he wants to start training for wheelchair races! You can do it, Bill!
Pic 2: Our staff take on many roles. Here is Mia, our Chief Office Administrator, making the guys feel great by pampering them with new haircuts!
