Hello again from Lockdown Legion HQ. I have some big news to share with you. Earlier this week I agreed a five-book deal with Theogony Books to publish Chimera Company. I'm thrilled that such a successful publisher wants to take on the series and help me share it with a wider readership. 

Theogony Books is an imprint of Chris Kennedy Publishing. Another one is Seventh Seal Press, who publishes my Four Horsemen Universe (4HU) books. So I'll become my own stablemate. Or something. Maybe? I'll be among friends and people I have a lot of respect for, in any case.

Talking of Seventh Seal Press. In case you missed it, they published my latest 4HU novel last week, The Dark Before the Light, which you can find on Amazon here. August sees the follow-up, One Minute to Midnight, and the audiobook edition of Endless Night.

Back to Chimera Company.

Here's what's going to happen.

Let's start with the current stories. At the moment, we have two seasons of the space opera adventure serial. Seventeen issues in all.

I'm reworking that now to turn them into three novels. That will mean some new story added into what is currently Season 2. We will see more of Bronze's back story and encounter a host of problems, all of which are trying to get our heroes killed in the smugglers' orbital called Flux City.

What if you've already read Chimera Company? Don't worry. I've got your back and so has Theogony. If you've bought the Human Legion Publications editions of the books, they won't suddenly disappear on you. And the new Chimera novels will kick off from where the existing Season 2 concluded.

The best way to think of it is that the first editions out at the moment are like the general release versions of a movie. The Theogony editions will be the extended director's cut.

Then there will be two brand new novels where we see Nyulga Ree and the Smugglers Guild. We will see more of Lord Khallini too. Who is he? What is he? What's his agenda? And let's not forget, we have a princess with a war hammer to rescue. 

These will be shorter novels than my 4HU books and most of the Human Legion ones. I apologize in advance for any sleep deprivation, because I plan to make them such page turners that some of you will want to read them all the way into the early hours in one go.

But they will be novels. The feedback was that the serialized weekly issues was not popular.

Hold up! What if I'm partway through the single issues?

Don't panic! The issues are all still available at the moment and still in Kindle Unlimited. You still have a while to pick them up as single issues, but if that's your plan, do it sooner rather than later.

And, once again, once you've bought a Kindle book from Amazon, you don't lose it if the publisher un-publishes it any more than you lose a paperback edition. All that means is that new readers can't buy it or search for it.

After the five novels are completed, what happens next?
