APOLOGIES FOR THE INCORRECT DAY IN THE PREVIOUS E-MAIL - THE CORRECT DAY IS THURSDAY JULY 9TH.
Thursday, July 9th, 2020
Starting at 6:00 pm
During the regular virtual Thursday Night Sit
Often times our practice is associated with sitting still. Yet in the Mahāsatipaṭṭhāna Sutta the Buddha advises practitioners that "[w]hatever posture their body is in, they know it" and to act "with situational awareness when going out and coming back; when looking ahead and aside; when bending and extending the limbs" (DN 22). Many of us live in a culture that emphasizes the mind over the body in our awareness. Together we will explore how contemplative embodiment and movement can nourish our individual and collective liberation.
