An alumni donation of hand sanitizer has made increasing safety at the Washington State University Tri-Cities campus a little easier. The donation comes from the Monson family, owners of the Goose Ridge Estate Winery and Vineyard and the newly launched GR Distillery.
The family plans to introduce grape-based vodka through their distillery. But with the onset of COVID-19, the family pivoted, using their supplies to create hand and surface sanitizer. The family is selling the product, but has also donated it to public institutions including WSU Tri-Cities. |
