Let's Mask Up Pleasanton

To control the spread of COVID-19, all residents and workers must cover their nose and mouth with a face covering when leaving home for any reason. Employees must wear a face covering when in the workplace except when in a private space or area not regularly used by others. Businesses are also required to remind customers or visitors to wear face coverings while inside or waiting in line to enter their business. County Face Coverings Order

Business are reminded to adhere to COVID-19 Preventative Measures as Follows:

  1. Face coverings are required by everyone (except when dining), as required by the State and County.
  2. For restaurants, the following items are emphasized:
    • Tables should be placed to allow for at least 6 feet of distance between each table, and between diners and pedestrians passing outside of the dining area.
    • Restaurants should implement procedures to ensure patrons waiting for tables can maintain social distancing (e.g. reservations, use of text notifications, marked waiting areas).
    • Patron sign-ins are encouraged, to allow for contact-tracing in the event of a COVID exposure.
Paycheck Protection Program Extended until
August 8
The Small Business Administration (SBA) extended its’ Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) application period past the initial June 30 deadline. The new deadline to apply for a PPP loan is August 8, 2020. Loan applications are made directly with a participating lender. Find a participating lenders on the SBA's website. Californians...#ShopSafeShopLocal

The State of California recently announced a new campaign, #ShopSafeShopLocal, encouraging Californians to support small businesses in their communities as they make modifications to protect public health and help our state's diverse neighborhoods thrive. Running through July, the campaign is a call to action to help all California small businesses operate safely amid the COVID-19 pandemic and grow their digital footprints. 

As part of this campaign, the State has launched a new website that connects California's small business owners to critical tools and resources including free consulting, latest state industry guidance and county variances, personal protective equipment (PPE) through SafelyMakingCA.org, California's new PPE marketplace, and a free digital media toolkit for small businesses and partners.

Regional Test Site Extended Through August
with New Hours

The regional COVID-19 testing site at the Alameda County Fairgrounds has been extended through August, and beginning Monday, July 13 the test site will have new operating hours from 9:00am-12:00pm (or until supplies last), Monday-Friday. Testing is available for asymptomatic residents age 10 years and above in the cities of Pleasanton, Dublin, and Livermore. No appointment is needed. Testing at this site is to determine if a patient is currently infected.

Pleasanton Emergency Rental Assistance Program

The Pleasanton Emergency Rental Assistance Program is now accepting applications for relief for Pleasanton residents who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Residents can receive up to $2,500 in grant assistance for eligible Pleasanton households to pay for up to one month of delinquent rent and late fees. Applications are being accepted on a first come, first served basis. Program eligibility details.
