Thankfully things have calmed down quite a bit since last weekend with all the revisions to parking/face coverings and such. Phew! Read on for this week's 'Buzz...
OUR PROTECTORS
Did you know that we have our very own US Coast Guard Station right at the Indian River Inlet? We do! They serve our coastal communities including portions of the Delaware Bay, Indian River Bay, Rehoboth Bay, creeks, tributaries and local rivers.
As a world leading search and rescue organization that trains, prepares and operates out of our neck of the woods, they also help our local mariners and the 'little guys' too...

A lot has changed in the last 450 million years, however horseshoe crabs have adapted to just about everything thrown their way. These resilient creatures not only support our global ecosystem, but are essential to modern medicine. Slowly but surely they make their way forward, and so do we.
