On Saturday, July 4th, City Net volunteer, Claire, along with one of our community coordinators, Charlie, arrived early to decorate the main meal tent with table clothes and balloons. After lunch, City Net coordinators, Charlie and Shaakira, facilitated a coloring activity and 3 rounds of BINGO with residents (see their artwork pictured below). Coordinated in advance, Good Deed Workers generously donated cool treats and ice cream for residents of the Courtyard to enjoy.
Thank you to all the City Net Meal Partners and community groups that are working behind the scenes to ensure special moments like this continue during this difficult season apart.
