AFP South Sound invites you to come together as professionals focused on improving our community - a powerful mission!

Join your peers for an evening of fun and camaraderie! We will celebrate our members and wider nonprofit community, announce our next round of mentorship program participants, get an update from the IDEA Committee, and match wits in a lively game of trivia!

Leveraging the power of technology, attendees will be divided into teams and will work together to answer general trivia questions for the chance to win prizes. A big thank you to Zach Entwistle, Realtor, for hosting this event for us.

Virtual Gathering "Ask an Expert"

Date: Thursday July 23, 2020
Time: 10:30 am – 11:30 am
Location: Online (RSVP and you will receive a calendar invite with access information)
Cost: Free!

Local experts Jan Brazzell PhD, ACFRE (Advancement Consulting) and James Hushagen (Eisenhower & Carlson PLLC and The Philanthropy Collective) will share their wealth of knowledge and answer attendees' questions on a wide range of topics.

Jan specializes in strategic planning, board development, effective fundraising, and capital/endowment campaigns. James has a background in business law with a special focus on serving nonprofits, particularly in governance, strategic planning, establishing endowments, and gift acceptance policies. You are invited to participate as we explore and discuss how we can learn how to be anti-racist and take steps personally, in our organizations and communities, and in the fundraising profession.
