Dear Real Life Family,

I hope you are staying warm and well in this cooler than usual Winter!

We are blessed to have opportunities to gather with others for engaging with our streamed worship services through gathering in Missional Communities (stay tuned for a dedicated e-mail on this later this week) or through simply inviting others to join us in our home (in COVIDSafe ways). I hope you were blessed by our guest speaker, Rev Stu Cameron from Newlife Church, this past weekend. We are privileged to have another outstanding preacher with us this weekend - Andrew Stone. Don't miss out!

As we navigate the challenges of gathering within the COVID-19 restrictions, we have now identified a date for our postponed mid-year Congregational Gathering!

On Sunday 2nd August at 4:00pm we will meet to receive the 2019 Annual Reports and updates on our mission and ministry in 2020 (including financial reports and plans). All Real Life members are encouraged to attend, but non-members are welcome. CovidSafe protocols will be followed. With this in mind, our Springwood building is not likely to be large enough to accommodate the meeting, therefore the Congregational Gathering will be held in the CCC Auditorium at Calvary Christian College's Carbrook Campus (559 Beenleigh-Redland Bay Rd, Carbrook).

Each week a different member of the church staff team will be providing us with a Monday Moment video that may cover a range of thoughts, reflections, encouragements and insights on daily life and the ministry across the church. Today, it is from me :)

As restrictions ease progressively we are, with caution, able to have more activity onsite at our Springwood venue. This is a great step! However, with the government requirements in mind, please be aware of the following protocols if you are coming onsite to our church office and facilities:

(1) Do not come if you are unwell in any way.

(2) All persons coming into our facilities MUST sign in at our iPad sign-in station at Reception. When departing all people must sign out also. This must be done every time someone arrives or leaves.

(3) No one should be coming onsite to undertake any activity without the Church Office or relevant Pastoral team member knowing and all COVIDSafe protocols must be followed.

(4) Hand Sanitiser should be used when arriving and as necessary when onsite (provided).

(5) Disinfectant spray and wipes are available and should be used regularly before and during activities on relevant surfaces and high use areas (provided).

(6) The relevant COVIDSafe Risk Assessment should be completed for formal activities being facilitated onsite.

Thanks for your understanding of these seemingly onerous requirements and for helping to keep everyone safe and healthy.

Below is some important information on some of our ministry programs that are able to resume in-person activities within COVIDSafe protocols this term:

Our Youth Program resumes for Term 3 in person THIS FRIDAY! (17 July) Starting the term with a UNIFIED Night it is sure to be a fantastic time. Check Out the Social Media pages for information. Real Life Youth meets at Calvary Christian College Carbrook Campus.

Girls Brigade commences in-person gathering this Friday afternoon (17 July) from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
Girls Brigade is for school-aged girls and meets at Calvary Christian College Carbrook Campus. Check out the details on our website.

Commences this Friday (17 July) at our Springwood Church Campus. This program is a musical play-based program for children aged 0-4 years old.

Our 4WD-ing group is holding a camping and 4WD-ing weekend at Gordon Country from Friday 31 July to Sunday 2 August. Booking is required and adventure is almost guaranteed! For more information or to connect with the organisers, check out the Facebook Event.

Things are slowly coming together as we step forward in a new normal of life and mission together. Remember God is sovereign and his grace is sufficient for us!
