Accelerating Genetic Gains in Maize and Wheat for Improved Livelihoods (AGG) is a new 5 year project that brings together partners in the global science community and in national agricultural research and extension systems to accelerate the development and delivery of high yielding, climate-resilient, pest- and disease-resistant, and highly nutritious maize and wheat varieties, targeted to the needs of farmers in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
