Good News

Maverick Boutin -- Kelly's update:, "Maverick is doing well. He’s doubled his birthweight and is in an open crib. He making slow progress with his oxygen needs, but we are hopeful we are headed in the right direction. He has his 2 month vaccinations next week. We are praying he tolerates them well. The next step is introducing breast and bottle feeding! We pray that both he and I are fast learners!" Please keep Maverick and his mothers in your prayers.

Fredericka Athanas, Evelyn's sister, has let friends and family know that she  has "turned the corner," meaning that she is no longer in a blue funk.  She said that the cards and notes from people at First Lutheran and from her home church, Newman Congregational, convinced her that she doesn't have to face the future alone, and more importantly, that she does have a future.
Her address is 105 Newman Ave.
Apt. S 204,
Rumford, RI 02916.

Amy Remillard, Connie Slick's sister, who  has been fighting organ rejection for months, has also been cheered up by the cards and notes of encouragement from people at First Lutheran.  It's a small act to us but a huge blessing to her.
Amy's address is:
Amy Remillard, 120 W Wabash Ave,
Waukesha, WI 53186.
