Check out the Crooms AoIT Class of 2020 virtual graduation

It has been a difficult second half of the year for our Class of 2020. COVID-19 has reshaped the educational experience for students all across the country - with seniors particularly being impacted. In lieu of this, Crooms AoIT is offering students two chances to celebrate their graduation. Students first got to celebrate their graduation in a virtual graduation ceremony (you can view online here and also make a "congrats" post on Facebook). The second will be an in-person graduation on July 18 that practices social distancing. Please take a moment congratulate our Class of 2020 graduates in these uncertain times.

Alumni Association award three scholarships

For the first time in a single year, the Alumni Association awarded three (3) graduating seniors from the class of 2020 with scholarships. These include one $1,000 Tech Innovation Scholarship (sponsored by the Class of 2009), one $1,000 Community Scholarship, and one $250 runner-up scholarship were awarded. Read more here.

Year-end financials released for Alumni Association

Each year the Crooms AoIT Alumni Association releases its consolidated income and balance sheet to provide full transparency into how your financial support is used. The Association's fiscal year runs from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. Interested members can view the financials on our website or e-mail scholarship@croomsalumni.com.

Tell us, Croomies: "Where are they now?"

Let us know how you are doing since graduating. Crooms AoIT is restarting the "Where are they now?" project. The project is looking to highlight the career successes of alumni as a way to promote academic success for current Croomies. A bulletin board or electronic display could be created to highlight where all of our alumni are and what they are doing, and responses could even support future Crooms AoIT marketing material. Participate now by taking 3 minutes or less to fill out the Where are they now? Google Form.
