Video of your sponsored child

Hi, Reader! Here's a quick update on our sponsorship program:

In-person activities at One by One's facilities are still suspended, but our staff has been (cautiously) visiting kids in the after-school program for the last several weeks to encourage them and to check on their well-being. Our after-school program director Emelina is married to our children's pastor Kidderleng, and they and their family have been making videos of the weekly Bible lesson to share with the kids in all programs. If you're curious what those look like, you can find them here.

We've also encouraged sponsored kids to send in short videos to greet their sponsors and let them know that they're okay. About half of them have done it so far, and we've put English subtitles on them. You can look for your child on our Facebook page. It's probably been a long time since you've seen your sponsored child in person (if you ever have); it's special to see their facial expressions and hear what their voice sounds like. I encourage you to check it out!
