The Wild Bird Feeding Institute (WBFI) and the backyard bird feeding industry has lost one of our own with the passing of Sterling Kuntz.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sterling P. Kuntz of Moorhead, Minnesota, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 44. He leaves behind a wife and two sons.

Sterling was a loyal son, devoted father, beloved husband, and loving friend. Everyone who has ever been in contact with Sterling will never forget his booming voice or his infectious smile. Our community will forever be at a loss without him.

Please keep Sterling's family in your thoughts and prayers. WBFI will be contributing to the Memorial Fund on behalf of the membership, but would encourage members to make personal contributions as well.
