From Dean Andreas

Dear Friends,

As Greater Melbourne is placed under lockdown, our daily prayers continue for the people of our state, especially our leaders, and those working in healthcare, laboratory and other frontline services to contain the spread of this pandemic, and all infected and affected by Covid19.

In line with the Victorian Government’s Coronavirus restrictions for Greater Melbourne  St Paul’s Cathedral will remain closed for visiting and in-person worship for the time being.

In the meantime, we continue to provide our worship, teaching and fellowship online, via our Facebook page and Youtube channel and Members’ Zoom. Please stay in touch with us via social media, or email, and stay safe and well at this challenging time.

For those without easy access to the internet and our live streamed services, we are pleased to partner with Channel 31 (Melbourne & Geelong) to broadcast Choral Evensong on Mondays at 2.30pm beginning on Monday 20th July. This service will be streamed on our Facebook and Youtube Channel on Tuesdays at 5.10pm.

A Prayer for during the COVID-19 Pandemic:
God of compassion, be close to those who are ill, afraid or in isolation. In their loneliness, be their consolation; in their anxiety, be their hope; in their darkness, be their light; through him who suffered alone on the cross, but reigns with you in glory, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
