Climate Pastoral Care Conference: Christian training in Care, Communication & Action
Don't forget to register now for this year's must-attend conference on climate and the church (30 July - 1 August) online via ZOOM: https://www.unitingearth.org.au/climate-conference/

Learn about climate anxiety, grief and mental health issues, and how we can provide best practice pastoral care for people in our churches and communities who are struggling.
Learn how to communicate climate messages from Dr Rebecca Huntley, one of Australia's most experienced and respected social researchers. And learn how your church can take action on climate change together.
This year the conference is even more accessible - available entirely online on the Thursday evening, Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Join us to learn, discuss, and share your wisdom. N.B. Cost is $30 for the full 3 sessions.

If you have any questions about the conference or need more information please contact Jon O’Brien  9407 3225,  joobrien@uniting.org or Dee Davidian 0468 584 071 ddavidian@uniting.org in the Uniting Advocacy team.
A pastoral note from Rev Robyn Lyons at Kincumber:

Miriam Edgar died last Saturday the 4th July after 12 months of ill health.
She was devoted in the work of Jesus in our world and will be greatly missed by her boys and their families and her church family.
We are thankful that she is now walking on the streets that are golden with Paul who died a few short months ago.
A private funeral has been arranged.
The Uniting Church in Australia Synod of NSW and ACT (the Synod) Ministry Handbook (handbook) is provided as a guide and reference for matters relating to placements and entitlements for those in ministry within the Synod.
It is intended for use by those ordained in ministry placements as well as for those responsible for the pastoral and administrative oversight such as representatives of Church Councils, Presbyteries and Synod Boards.
