COVID UPDATE

Well here we are at the start of another period of home isolation, keeping to ourselves and keeping safe at home. Just like last time, we are open 10am to 4pm, 7 days a week, so you can continue to get what you need for your garden. We are well stocked with herb and veggie seedlings, as well as lots of beautiful winter treats like camellias, daphne and winter colour, and plenty of indoor plants if you need to bring some nature into your home.

We're also happy to help you over the phone. We invite you to give us a call if you need advice for your garden and our team are more than happy to answer any gardening questions that you have.

We extend our best wishes to all our lovely customers who have continued to support our business. We are immensely grateful.

If you don't want to go out, we offer contactless delivery to your door. We can also drop off wrapped gifts to your friends and loved ones. We also offer kerbside pickup. Just call ahead and let us know what you need, we'll have it waiting for you to collect.

Call us on 9822 3305 to place your order. We offer a flat rate delivery fee of $10 within the Stonnington area.
Last time around we found that gardening really did help lift our spirits during lockdown and provided a great activity for families who are looking for something to do outside. If you have kids stuck in the home and you want to get them away from screens, we have some ideas.
  • Kids can grow a winter veggie patch of fast growing vegetables like kale, broccoli or Asian greens. Or plant a strawberry patch for fresh chemical free strawberries in spring
  • Succulents are beautiful in winter, when the cold brings out the best of their colours, and very easy for kids to grow
  • Try decorating some terracotta pots and planting winter colour
  • Turn a jar or an old fishbowl into a terrarium
  • Start a compost bin and add your autumn leaves
  • Download our insect colouring sheet and teach your kids about beneficial insects in the garden
Did you plant veggies in autumn and are not sure what to do now? Check out our Autumn/Winter veggie growing guide with tips on how to get those veggies ready for harvesting.
