We’ve all longed for it and finally it’s here: SUMMER! We hope that you too can enjoy a period of rest from the demanding structures of everyday reality. It’s time to re-energize. For those who are still in the mood for some thought-provoking and empowering voices, or for those who have finally some time to make space for this, we happily share with you the registration of the special online events that took place earlier this year. Don’t miss these little gems!

We will be back soon with a new exciting online program, podcasts and publications. For now, we wish you a joyful, restful and easy summer! We look forward to seeing you in September!
Three online events
Last months we organized three online events about art and activism together with our partner and online magazine Mister Motley, for which we were joined by the filmmaker and climate justice activist Chihiro Geuzebroek, writer, artist, curator and pleasure activist Ama Josephine Budge, and curator Léon Kruijswijk. Watch the special conversations!
In this video Ama Josephine Budge, in conversation with curator Yolande Zola Zoli van der Heide, touches upon the agencial capacity of queer Black bodies in relation to environmentally-changes futures in the face of what has been termed ‘climate colonialism.’
Léon Kruijswijk in gesprek met Lieneke Hulshof over de parallellen en verschillen tussen de HIV/Aids en de COVID-19 epidemie. En sociale stigmatisering, politiek mismanagement, emancipatie, kunst & activisme.
Radio ArtEZ
Last but not least, listen to the podcasts on Radio ArtEZ! This season, as the result of the abrupt changes in education, we shared our thoughts on other alternative models for education in No School Station. In addition, we also produced a mini-series on equality, art and education in Roadmap to Equality. And just last week, we launched a new episode on music and emancipation; listen to The Power of Moroccan Roots Music. To finish this year’s run, we also have some funny and special experiments for you, such as Voices messages from 8102 and more. Listen to these interviews, tunes, voices. Enjoy the SUMMER!
