MS4 Infrastructure Mapping

Communities are working within their resources to meet the State's MS4 Permit. Part of this effort requires the mapping of all of the storm water infrastructure the municipality is responsible for.  The deadline for the mapping has since passed (July 1, 2020) with many communities reporting  efforts towards meeting those mapping targets.

WestCOG, provides inlet data, and will now be offering mapping services to close the mapping gaps between towns and the MS4 Permit. Tucker Beckett, GIS Analyst at WestCOG will be digitizing site plans, hiking streams for outfalls with preliminary testing, and inventory existing datasets. Contact Tucker Beckett (475.323.2062) if you'd like to schedule a meeting.

CTDOT Looking for Comments on its Title VI Program!

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is in the process of updating its Title VI Program, and is looking for feedback on their Proposed Service and Fare Equity Policies. These policies are developed to ensure that CTDOT identifies and considers disproportionate negative impacts to minority or economically disadvantaged populations whenever there is a major service or fare change proposal.

CTDOT wants to hear your comments on these proposed policies. Comments will be accepted from July 1, 2020, through August 14, 2020, via email or post. See the CTDOT Title VI Program Website to submit comments and learn more.
