A five week class held on Fridays from 5-6 pm. Students will learn plans to combat common pawn structures. This session covers the Slav, Carlsbad, and Grunfeld. A five week class held on Sundays from 10-11:30 am. Students will learn one of the most pragmatic & fighting defenses in chess. The focus will be on modern theory and middlegame ideas and plans. (IM Sturt has played the Slav for 10+ years and used it to beat countless GMs and IMs.) Zoom required. The class is held from 5:00-6:00 pm on Wednesdays. Enrollment fee: $100.
