Dear <<First Name>>,
This is what's happening remotely at HopeSpring this week.
Social Art is hosting a fundraiser for HopeSpring!
This event was originally scheduled for April but will now take place Thursday, July 16 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Social Art.

You'll be instructed through a 16”x20” painting of Hope Blooms (pictured above).

Only a few tickets remaining to this fundraiser so act fast! To purchase a ticket please visit Hope Blooms.

Here's how Social Art is operating in the time of COVID-19 - We are re-opening!

Introducing a brand new workshop at HopeSpring -  Chemo Brain: The Impact of Cancer Treatments on Memory, Thinking, and Attention!

Make sure you attend this workshop if you have chemo brain or brain fog!

This workshop will provide an understanding of what Chemo Brain is (i.e., regarding verbal or visual memory, problems with attention and concentration, as well as its affects on how one processes information), why cancer patients suffer from memory problems related to chemotherapy, and strategies for managing and improving memory problems during and after cancer treatment.

This workshop takes place on Wednesday, August 5, 12, or 19 from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. via Zoom. You only need to attend 1 session. To register, please visit Chemo Brain Registration.

The Exercise Oncology Lab (PI: Dr. Linda Trinh) is looking for cancer survivors to complete an online survey about their experiences with physical activity and mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. By understanding this we may be able to develop tailored resources to address the needs of cancer survivors during this time. Anyone who completes the study will be eligible to enter into a drawing to win 1 of 6 $25 CAD gift cards to Amazon.

To complete the survey, please visit Exercise Oncology Lab Cancer Survivors COVID-19 survey.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to our research team at the Exercise Oncology Lab at 416-946-5856 or at exercise.oncology@utoronto.ca
