MASKS AND UPDATED POLICIES & PROCEDURES

GJD MASK POLICY

Anyone age 3 and up must wear a mask to enter & exit the building. This includes parents/guardians dropping off students and staff.

STUDENTS WILL ONLY WEAR THEIR MASK WHILE ENTERING/EXITING THE BUILDING, IN THE WAITING AREA, UTILIZING BATHROOM(S) AND EQUIPMENT. IF A CLASS IS UTILIZING EQUIPMENT SUCH AS BALLET BARRES, GYM EQUIPMENT ETC. OUR INSTRUCTORS WILL ASK STUDENTS TO WEAR THEIR MASKS. PARENTS HAVE THE OPTION OF HAVING THEIR DANCER/GYMNAST WEAR THEIR MASKS THROUGHOUT CLASS IF THEY CHOOSE TO DO SO. STUDENTS WILL HAVE A DESIGNATED AREA TO PUT THEIR MASK WHILE DANCING/TUMBLING TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF OUR STUDENTS/STAFF. DANCE AND GYMNASTICS ARE PHYSICALLY DEMANDING SPORTS AND WE WANT TO MAKE SURE STUDENTS BREATHING IS NOT RESTRICTED HOWEVER UNDERSTAND IF PARENTS WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THE EXTRA PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES. GJD WILL MONITOR MASKED STUDENTS.

OUT OF STATE VACATION PROCEDURES

Pennsylvania and New Jersey announced that travelers coming from selected states with high COVID-19 numbers should quarantine for two weeks.

Governor Tom Wolf announced Thursday that Pennsylvanians who travel to the following 15 states will need to quarantine for 14 days upon their return

This policy will start effective immediately July 9th 2020 at Grand Jete Studio of Dance LLC.
Students who have traveled will not be allowed in the studio until after their 14 day quarantine. While we can not monitor all of our client's vacations we ask that all of our patrons are honest/courteous and follow this new procedure.

Anyone who was planning to audition today for our Dance Company and are affected by this new policy will be sent a Zoom link at the beginning of our audition day at 4:00pm. Click the link at your scheduled audition time to enter the meeting and you will audition with the class in session.

GJD will be working hard to make Zoom an option ONLY for students who are affected by this travel policy to continue with their Summer 2020 Schedule.
