Our 2020 Graduation Ceremony (K/8/12) will happen on Sunday, August 2nd. Details for that date and a prior practice session are enclosed.

As you may or may not know, our postponed 2020 graduation ceremony has now been scheduled for Sunday, August 2nd at 1:00 PM. This event will be a combined ceremony for our Kindergarten, 8th grade, and high school senior graduates.
We will have practice on Friday, July 31st at 12 noon at Louisville First SDA Church. We need all graduates to attend! Please be prompt and wear masks.
In compliance with the state of Kentucky COVID-19 guidelines for events, here are the requirements for attending graduation:
Only 4 attendees per family (not including the graduate) will be permitted to attend. This is done in order to stay within the recommended reduced capacity for the sanctuary.
All attendees must wear masks to protect the safety and well-being of all who attend.
Social distancing will be observed both inside and outside the building.
Signage will show you which side to enter/exit from.
There can be no lingering in the lobby before or after the ceremony.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to have a reception following the ceremony. There will be a container for each graduate where attendees may place cards as they exit the church. Graduates will be lined up on the sidewalk outside the church so you can walk by and congratulate them.
We ask that pictures be taken outside and that social distancing is observed. We hope to make this as memorable as possible under the current circumstances.
For all family or friends who will not be able to attend, we will be live-streaming the ceremony and it will be available to watch later as well. The website to share with those who can participate this way is louisvillefirst.sermon.net.
