 Isaiah 55:10-13

Romans 8:1-11
Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23

You can read them here: https://lectionary.library.vanderbilt.edu//texts.php?id=150
Now that we are past Trinity Sunday, there are two Old Testament reading and Psalm options listed. We use the ones listed second on that website.

Our hymns are:
We Plow the Fields and Scatter (WIR PFLÜGEN) (ELW 681)
Build Us Up, Lord (ELW 670)
Communion hymn: I Received the Living God (ELW 477)
(these we have been using for a number of weeks at a time)
Now Thank We All Our God (isometric) (ELW 840)

Rather than resend worship instructions each week, I will refer you to the website because changes can and do happen right up to worship time. The website can be changed in minutes if needed to update links or passwords. You can find all the information at https://flcsm.org/onlineworship/ and more complete instructions at https://flcsm.org/worshipaccess/

The worship book now has a permanent address so you can find it easily and there will be fewer chances for errors. It will be at http:// http://flcsm.org/next-sunday-worship-book/ . You might find a placeholder file there during the week. It will be posted by Saturday at the latest.  (There may be changes in prayers and other small items, but the link should remain the same. If there are any major changes, which we do not anticipate, we would send another email on Sunday.)
IF YOU GO there on Saturday and Sunday and find last weeks file you need to fully refresh your browser because your computer is reading its cached version.
If that does not work try getting the file from the specific date link on the worship page.
Hymns for Summer

For summer, we have occasionally had various ways for individuals to pick a hymn for worship. We have hymns set for a few weeks out but want to start with that soon. If you want to submit a favorite hymn, email it to pastortim@flcsm.org . You don't need to put down a number but it does need to be in the ELW hymnal. We will draw weekly starting soon.

This week we will use the last suggestion!  A couple have said "Old Favorites" which sounds good.  But the hard part is that is different for everyone, and I don't want to try to guess at them, I want to do YOUR FAVORITE!!
Camp Canceled - Prayer Request

Camp has long been the highlight of summer for many. This congregation has always supported camping ministry, even when there have not been many kids to go. This summer, we hoped that camp would be a break from monotony. Plans were in place to hold camp safely, but with more and more cases of COVID it became clear that the risk was growing. Camp Chrysalis and Ebert Ranch had three great weeks of camp, but have made the wise and safe call to close for the remainder of summer.  Pastor Tim, the Bauerkemper Boys, and Michael Linde were to have gone this week but it is not going to be.  Kids from all over our synod are disappointed.

We ask your prayers as Cross Trails winds down in a way no one had hoped. We give thanks that the weeks we did have were healthy, and that the safer choice was made as it became more worrisome. Particularly pray for those staff who were in their last years of being part of camp, and like so many others who were graduating or finishing a career in teaching, have ended their time with this ministry in a way they had not wished.
Christ In Our Home - Still Plenty Available!!!!

The next devotional books are in and start July 1. They wouldn't be easy to put outside because of their size, but mailing costs less than a dollar and doesn't have you out when staying home is safer!

If you would like one, contact Sue at the church office (512-392-2064 or firstlutheran@grandecom.net ) and let her know.
