Residents can now book appointments for in-person services at City Hall
The City of Barrie will be reopening the first floor of City Hall to provide some in-person services to residents, by appointment only.
Service Barrie, the City's customer service centre located on the first floor of City Hall at 70 Collier Street, will reopen starting Monday, July 13, to provide in-person services to the public by appointment only. The hours of operation will be Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Appointments must be booked in advance by calling Service Barrie at 705-726-4242. Please call from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday to book your appointment.

Please do not make or attend an appointment if you are sick or experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. If required to assist with your transaction, only one additional person may attend the appointment. The City also asks that residents use debit or credit card to pay instead of cash or cheques as much as possible.
Access to City Hall
Access to City Hall will be via the Worsley Street entrance off the parking lot. Please arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your appointment. A security guard will confirm your appointment before you will be allowed to enter the building. Also, please note that as of July 13, when you enter into a public indoor space, you are required to wear a face covering.
Barrie Transit Terminal Open
The Barrie Transit Terminal, located at 24 Maple Avenue, will also sell both resident and non-resident waterfront parking passes during the terminal's operating hours. The terminal is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. For residents requesting their free resident waterfront parking pass, please contact Service Barrie at 705-726-4242 or ServiceBarrie@barrie.ca.
Online Services Available
Residents are encouraged to continue to use online options whenever possible. Visit barrie.ca/OnlineServices for more information. Payments for invoices and bills continue to be accepted through the drop boxes located at the front and back of City Hall.
