So it appears that another two weeks have passed - is it just me or are the weeks merging into one? Maybe it is the lack of events. Would Wimbledon be on now? I'm sure I heard something about Glastonbury . . .  or is it autumn already? The lack of any sporting or cultural events - combined with the UK's random weather systems -  is quite disconcerting. Anyway, one thing that keeps me on track is writing the fortnightly GSS newsletter - as always, if you have any feedback, please email gssnet@statistics.gov.uk.
