Postcards to Swing States

Order cards here!
To volunteer locally to organize postcards for mailing & distribution, see a note from Reid McCollum below:

Hi Neighbors & Friends,
Ramsey and I co-founded Postcards to Swing States out of my garage, with the help of many of you!! Since May 1, we've shipped close to 2 million postcards to volunteers in 48 states. Our aim was to make a significant difference in the outcome of the November election. Because of you, we already have. We're now in a position to grow even more. Our goal is 13 million postcards to 10 key states, including some with close Senate races.

Our office will be open Thursday and Friday this week (July 2 &3) for volunteers to pick up postcards and supplies to help us keep up with a huge volume of orders from writers all over America. Volunteers are needed to rubber band postcards, count and paper clip address sheets, and affix adhesive label holders to shipping envelopes. Also, to pick up "kits" of a few dozen orders ready to assemble and have USPS pick up, as well. All of these helpful tasks can be done at home, take 2-3 hours, and can be done over about a week before we need them back (or to USPS).We won't be ready to have people pick up postcards with addresses to write until next week. We have three wonderful staff: Jake Liu, Julia Sant and Ken Reichmann.

Postcards to Swing States:
223 Burlington, Clarendon Hills
TU/TH/SA 9 AM - 3 PM; SU 1-4 PM
(also open FR 7/3 from 9-3)

Spread the word to friends and family all over the country! All the information is at www.postcardstoswingstates.com. The website will include all 10 states starting tomorrow, July 1.
Please drop by and help!! And thank you!!

What is this NEW Coalition TIER?

TIER is a non-partisan network of groups and individuals that magnifies our individual group efforts, shares information and resources focusing on Anti-racism and including police reform efforts. Indivisible DuPage is a founding member because a lot of what we know needs to happen on this topic needs to be moved forward with large coalitions statewide. Check out our Facebook page facebook.com/Team-Illinois-for-Equity-Reform-107953380942611/ or join our activist super channel of communication in Slack. Slack is a free application that can be put on any digital device with internet.  Here is a tutorial.  It is far more organized and searchable than your emails.  You can communicate with all the other people that care about the issues you care about. The best way to build momentum is to start talking to each other and organizing TOGETHER. The best way to do that with an unlimited number of people is through Slack. Events are happening so quickly and so many people  want to be educated.  People need to be able to hear YOUR VOICE and opinions and ideas.  This is the link that will join you to our shared Slack Channel so that you can communicate in an organized manner with thousands of people that care about these same issues.
