We’re good to go! Here’s a quick roundup of where you can visit this month, please check each attractions website before you visit as admission details may be different than usual and the services on offer are increasing all the time. It’s great to have some indoor attraction open now so you can have a day out whatever the weather!

The Lakeland Motor Museum reopens on Saturday 4 July and is excited about welcoming visitors back again. They have made some changes to make your visit safe and relaxing with staggered entry times, every 15 minutes. All admissions need to be pre-booked online here.

English Heritage Carlisle Castle, Birdoswald Roman Fort, Furness Abbey and Lanercost Priory all reopen on Saturday 4 July. Remember, whether you are a EH Member or not, you'll need to book your visit in advance and arrive during your time slot, so please book before you visit.
Brockhole on Windermere is reopening the grounds on Saturday 4 July – and their motorboats, rowing boats, sit on top kayaks, open canoes and paddle boards will be back on the water every day. Join their Lakeshore team for a true Lake District water sports experience. See availability and book all boats online. Takeaway service available from the café.
Grizedale and Winlatter Forests are open! Cafés open at each location this weekend for takeaways. Go Ape Grizedale and Whinlatter and Whinlatter Bike Hire opens on Saturday 4 July. So, if you need to burn off some pent-up energy or get a breath of fresh air head to the forest.
Askham Hall Gardens are open every day 11.30am - 7.30pm. Take a stroll around their 12 acre grade II listed gardens, which are all looking amazing! They have fired up their wood-fired pizza oven and have tray bakes and drinks for takeaways from noon - 7pm.
Levens Hall is open from Monday 6 July with guided tours of the House for small groups of up to 8 people. Tickets for timed tours (which include both House and Gardens admission) can only be purchased from the entrance kiosk on arrival. Gardens only admission tickets are available online and from the entrance kiosk. Levens Kitchen is serving a comprehensive takeaway menu.
 
Dalemain Mansion Gardens are also open from Monday 6 July – a perfect time to see the old-fashioned roses and enjoy the tranquillity of their gardens. Everything you need to know is here.
 
Mirehouse are planning to open their grounds, playgrounds and lakeside walk on Thursday 9 July for the season. They will then be open Wednesday - Sunday, 10am - 4.30pm. The Old Sawmill Tearoom is open for takeaways. Tickets available on the day  from the tearoom. Catch up with all their news here.

Some of our gardens have been open for a couple of weeks and have been delighting visitors who have been so pleased to be able to visit again. So just a quick reminder of those…
 
The National Trust have opened the garden and parkland at Sizergh Castle. You’ll need to book tickets before you visit. National Trust members can book for free, while non-members will need to pay when booking.
 
Rydal Mount gardens and tearoom are open. Every Saturday and Sunday the gardens are open from 11am - 4pm. Please book your tickets online.
 
Muncaster Castle’s gardens are open from 10.30am - 5pm each day. Please buy your tickets online before arriving.
 
Holker Hall gardens are open. Tickets are available on their website and they ask that where possible, you book these in advance of your visit.
 
The gardens at Hutton-in-the-Forest are open Sunday - Friday, 1pm - 4pm. At this time entry is only £5, payable in cash into the honesty box at the gate. Accompanied children, free.
